2. Data We Collect About Buyers
When you make a purchase, we collect:
- Email address — used solely to deliver your purchased CSV file. We do not add you to any marketing lists without your consent.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
- Purchase metadata — which pack(s) you ordered and when, retained for order records and potential refund disputes.
We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking cookies on this site.
3. How We Use Buyer Data
- To send your purchased CSV file via email (through Brevo transactional email)
- To respond to support or refund requests
- To maintain basic order records
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
Buyer email addresses and order records are retained for 12 months, after which they are deleted unless required for ongoing legal or financial compliance.
5. Data In Our Packs (Business Listings)
Our CSV packs contain publicly available information about businesses — including business names, phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses. This data is collected from public sources including:
- Google Business Profile (public listings)
- Yelp business directory
- State contractor licensing databases
- Other publicly accessible business directories
This data relates to businesses and their business contact information, not personal consumer data. Business contact information listed in public directories is not covered by consumer privacy laws such as CCPA in the same manner as personal consumer data.
6. Opt-Out and Removal Requests (For Businesses In Our Data)
If your business appears in one of our data packs and you wish to be removed from future pack updates, you can request removal by:
- Emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Data Removal Request"
- Including your business name, city, state, and the contact information you wish removed
We will process removal requests within 10 business days and exclude your business from the next monthly update. Note that we cannot retroactively remove your data from CSVs already delivered to customers.
We maintain a suppression list of all removal requests to ensure excluded businesses are not re-added in future updates.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Brevo — transactional email delivery. Brevo Privacy Policy
- Railway — application hosting. Your data transits their servers.
8. Cookies
This site uses only essential session cookies required for the checkout process. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
9. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data never touches our servers — it is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data we do store.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
